Creamy Mushroom Sauce

Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 7 minutes
Servings: 4

Ingredients

Beef or chicken
30 g butter
350g Paris mushrooms sliced
2 tablespoons white wine
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup cream
1 clove garlic crushed
1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives

Direction

1. Pass the meat of your choice or chicken to skillet; remove from pan, cover with aluminum foil and keep warm.
2. Melt the butter with the pan juices, add the mushrooms and let them brown 5 minutes, stirring over medium heat until they are tender.
3. Add wine, broth, cream and garlic and bring to boil.
4. Cook uncovered 2 minutes, stirring constantly until sauce thickens slightly.
5. Stir in chives and serve immediately.

Serve with steaks, veal or chicken cooked in a skillet.
